Your day commences with a journey to the legendary Giza Plateau. Here, you will stand in the shadow of the Great Pyramids, the sole surviving wonder of the ancient world, and contemplate the eternal mystery of the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple.
After a midday pause for authentic Egyptian cuisine, you will be granted privileged entry to the monumental new Grand Egyptian Museum. During its pre-opening phase, you'll be among the first to experience its soaring Grand Hall and preview its unparalleled collections of ancient treasures before being chauffeured back to your hotel.
Begin your day delving into the layered history of Cairo. Your first destination is the imposing Citadel of Salah El Din, a medieval fortress crowned by the exquisite Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. From there, you will journey into the spiritual heart of Old Cairo, wandering its ancient lanes to discover the architectural marvel of the Hanging Church and the sacred crypt of the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus. Today, you will leave Cairo for the vibrant city of Aswan. Your tour manager will meet you in the morning at your hotel and accompany you to Cairo Airport for your flight. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be assisted and taken in a private air-conditioned vehicle to board your luxurious Nuun and Nuut Dahabiyas, which offer a high level of privacy.
